1 of 3 - 1963 Corvette Z06 "big tank" featured in vette magazine - January 2020.

Starlight Restorations is proud to announce the 1963 Corvette Z06 "Big Tanker" we did a complete body restoration on, made an appearance in the latest issue of Vette magazine (January 2020). The owner, Andy Cannizzo was an absolute pleasure to work with. He is a very knowledgeable "corvette guy" himself, where he specializes in 1963 models.  Andy and I worked together over the course of 14 months to complete the project. While we were working on the body at Starlight, Andy was restoring all the other components of the car, out of his home garage. We met multiple times during the 14 months, to ensure we were on the same page....allowing the level of quality to stay consistent throughout the car. We leaned heavily towards the Concourse side of things, where we kept everything correct for the car, but elevated the level of quality and attention to detail to a level very few cars receive. His first Concourse de Elegance show earned him a "Best Performance Car" award. This coming season should bring him much success on the show circuit, as this ultra rare Corvette has what it takes to win awards at any show it enters.
